Diana Harshbarger has been a Sunday School teacher for nearly 25 years and vows to protect our freedom of religion at all costs. She understands the real issues amongst Christian believers and will protect one’s right to choose to pray and protect Christians from the heavy hand of the Government’s overreach to limit our religious freedoms. These Christians know Diana is the only candidate who will not cave to political zealots that seek to tear down religious institutions in favor of the government.
The coalition will focus on utilizing people of faith amongst their community to share grassroots activity, messaging, and policy amongst believers. The members of the group are fellow Christians, active in their congregations, and will bring their skills of church voter registration, voter guides, volunteer recruitment, and community events to the forefront.
Small Business Owners
Diana Harshbarger is the Republican candidate that is a small business owner and wants to put American small businesses first. She understands the real issues small businesses face everyday like the overreach of government, restrictive healthcare mandate costs, unpredictable minimum wage hikes, and Washington choosing China and other foreign countries over American businesses. Small business owners want to continue the American Dream of owning their own businesses and believe that Diana is the only candidate that will support more sanctions on putting Americans first. Since entering Congress, Diana has fought for policies that will promote economic growth and job creation for our communities in East Tennessee and throughout the country.
The coalition will work with each city’s chamber of commerce and key business members to build a coalition within the business community across the board. The coalition will spread grassroots activity, messaging, and policy with their peers and customers.
Health Care
Diana Harshbarger is the only practicing Healthcare Provider in the race that knows firsthand the horrible effects of Obamacare and its devastating impact on the healthcare industry and every American. As a pharmacist, she understands that there is real work to be done to eliminate the overreaching arm of the federal government and the first steps she will take in Congress will be to work to lower prescription drug prices, increase generic drug pricing transparency, as well as increase competition among health insurance plans. The healthcare industry supports Diana because they know these reforms will make it easier for Americans, especially our seniors to afford medications. As a member of Congress, Diana has worked tirelessly to lower prescription drugs prices, ensure that our rural communities have access to healthcare - especially our seniors, and promote policies that will address critical issues such as staffing shortages at our hospitals. Diana’s policies make sure that Congress is putting the PATIENT first!
The coalition will focus on utilizing tightly knit groups of healthcare providers – of all practices – who agree that there is a real need to improve every American’s healthcare and provide more choices through increased competition. The members of the group are fellow healthcare providers, active in their community to spread peer-to-peer, get out the vote, and fundraising efforts for Diana. This strong coalition of healthcare leaders assists with Diana’s third-party credibility on healthcare and innovation issues. Some members may feel comfortable assisting with earned media events and healthcare tours.
Pharmacists
Diana Harshbarger is the only practicing Healthcare Professional in the race that knows firsthand the horrible effects of Obamacare and its devastating impact on the pharmacy profession as well as every American. Pharmacists support Diana because she has been a local pharmacy owner for over 30 years. They know these reforms will make it easier for Americans, especially our seniors to afford medications.

The members of the group are fellow pharmacists who work in or own independent pharmacies. They all agree that the government is overreaching and harming the pharmacy profession. This strong coalition of pharmacy leaders will assist with third-party credibility on healthcare and pharmacy benefit management reform issues. Some members may feel comfortable assisting with earned media events and pharmacy business tours.
Veterans
Diana Harshbarger understands that Veterans are some of the finest among us and they deserve the very best we can offer in return for their sacrifices and commitment to protecting America. These real-life heroes know we must continue to build on the Republican Party’s progress and make sure every veteran has access to both the physical and mental healthcare they rightfully deserve. Diana has always voted in support of fully funding programs that help our veterans, including introducing her own legislation. Diana is the only candidate who will fight for their futures and families.
The ‘Veterans for Diana Coalition’ is an organized group of Veterans – of all military branches – who support Diana’s candidacy for Congress. This strong coalition of united Veterans may assist with Diana’s third-party credibility on military and foreign policy issues. Members of the coalition will be on the frontline organizing peer-to-peer, get out the vote efforts within their communities, branches, and organizations. Some members may feel comfortable assisting with earned media events.
Teachers
Diana Harshbarger is the Republican candidate that understands first-hand the teachers and a good education can open doors for one’s life. Diana and educators agree that education is the key to financial stability and success, which is not limited to only higher education degrees. However, the Radical Left are teaching our children what to think, not how to think. Diana knows that it’s time to put parents back in the driver’s seat and ensure that our next generation is focused on learning skills that will benefit their futures, not extreme ideologies. Educators agree that Diana will stand for families, teachers, and our communities to be empowered with choices for their education while the big government needs to get out of the classroom.
The coalition will work with each school districts’ faculty and key education leaders to build a coalition within the education community across the board. The coalition of teachers will spread Diana’s message through grassroots activity, messaging, and policy with their peers and the families they play a key role in.
2nd Amendment
Diana Harshbarger is the Republican candidate that could not be clearer on the 2nd Amendment – the right to bear arms shall not be infringed upon. Second Amendment Americans see every day that the radical left is trying to expand the role of government, while the Second Amendment was created to prevent just that. Second Amendment supporters want the right to self-defense to be protected for themselves and future generations of Americans and Diana is the candidate to work tirelessly to ensure our right to bear arms is protected.
The coalition will focus on building upon the strong base of support from gun owners. Outreach at gun shows, gun stores, sportsman shops, sportsmen-centered conservation groups, concealed carry permit holders, and 2nd Amendment issue-based groups such as the NRA, GOA, and 2nd Amendment Patriots will grow the peer-to-peer affinity for Diana within this coalition in unison.
Police and Firemen
Diana Harshbarger is the Republican candidate who has the backs of our police and firemen. Diana and police/firemen agree that drugs and criminals flow across our state, while politicians dub their cities and state “sanctuaries” for criminals and illegals. Law-abiding local law enforcement and firemen are handcuffed by federal agencies to remove dangerous criminals off our streets. Police and firemen put their lives on the lines every day and Diana believes that these heroes deserve the very best of both physical and mental healthcare and protections.

Farmers want the quintessential American tradition of farming to continue with future generations and believe that Diana is the only candidate to protect agribusiness from unfair competitors like China.
The coalition will work with each county’s Farm Bureau and key members of the agricultural community to build a coalition within the farm, ranch, grain dealers, and agribusiness community to share grassroots activity, messaging, and policy with their peers and neighbors.
Women
Diana Harshbarger is the conservative Republican candidate that listens to the needs of women and families. Democrats no longer advocate for women and she understands the real issues women face. Women want the American Dream for their family and future generations but our country is off track. Conservative women know Diana is the only candidate who will fight for them and their future.
The coalition will focus on identifying key women at the state and local levels to build a coalition of support of women from elected office, commerce, community, educational, and faith-based backgrounds to develop an outreach plan that is key to the needs of women. The members of the group are active in grassroots activities in their community and will bring their skills of volunteerism and phone banking to the forefront.
Students
Diana Harshbarger is the conservative Republican candidate that listens to the next generation. She understands the real issues students face. These young Americans want the American Dream but our country is off track. They know Diana is the only candidate who will fight for them and their future.
